CAREC Technical Workshops
CARILEC hosts a series of in-person training events and symposiums to facilitate peer to peer learning on key technical areas. CAREC workshops are tailored to the needs identified by our membership. Participants in these workshops can continue to access the content on the CAREC knowledge portal and working groups.

The Regulatory Roundtable workshop provides an important avenue to gather information and to understand the challenges, the opportunities, and the wins and the losses that confront the constituients that make up the energy space in the Caribbean, and as such, having a safe space where there will be open discussion amongst the key stakeholders, the utilities, the regulators is important to gather a clear understanding of what those challenges are.
Meaningful collaboration is required for the region to successfully navigate this energy transition, in which we (Caribbean utilities) are in different stages of the process. The CAREC Storage Workshop is an excelllent initiative which facilitates and encourages knowledge sharing amongst stakeholders across our region. I was fortunate to attend the 2023 CAREC workshop where novices, experts, and those in-betweeen, shared their collective experiences, builiding professional networks to "Grow Together" as a region.
