The CAREC Resilient Power Series 2026 began with the team from WIT ONE, delivering a high‑impact discussion on the future of power utility cybersecurity in the Caribbean.  Attendees heard how NERC CIP standards—developed to safeguard the North American bulk electric system—establish critical requirements for asset identification, governance, access control, monitoring, incident response, and recovery across the power grid.
