WEBINAR

Recording: June 2nd, 2026

Overview:

As the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins, the CARILEC Resilient Energy Community (CAREC) Resilient Power Series  presents a timely discussion on resilience planning and finance in the Caribbean energy sector. Building on the conversations from the April Disaster Management Symposium, this webinar will explore how utilities and stakeholders can move beyond reactive disaster response toward a continuous culture of resilience embedded across operations, planning, and investment.

The session examines innovative approaches to financing resilient infrastructure, strengthening institutional preparedness, and advancing long-term strategies to help Caribbean energy systems withstand, recover from, and adapt to increasingly severe climate impacts. The session features the perspectives of the Jamaica Public Services Company (JPS), the CARILEC Disaster Assistance Program (CDAP), and CARILEC Technical Energy Solutions Team.
